2023-01-21
Nordex SE, a German wind turbine producer (ETR:NDX1), reported on Thursday that an agreement had been secured to supply and assemble turbines for a 35-MW power plant in the Lublin district of southeastern Poland. The project was undertaken by Wind Farm Lada Sp zoo, part of Polish firm RE Alloys Sp zoo producing ferrosilicon and silicon-based alloys.

The deal will involve ten N131/3600 machines provided by the German company, which are intended for the Dzwola facility close to Zamosc city. Furthermore, it comes with a 15 year Premium Service guarantee for the turbines. Delivery and installation of hardware is expected in autumn 2023 with the wind farm beginning operation at the start of the following year.
The agreement marks RE Alloys' first venture into running a wind farm as part of their initiative to switch all power demand to electricity created from renewable energy sources. It is also Nordex's second contract in Poland since November, following another for the 48-MW Nozdrzec wind farm in Subcarpathia.
