The Flygt 2201 pump uses the design of the well-known BIBO pump and has been proven by many years of operation in the mining industry. It is a robust and reliable pump. Specially designed semi-open Hard-Iron impellers or closed impellers with Dura Spin (60 HRC) technology provide the best combination of resistance to clogging and wear. Hydraulics with Flygt Spin-Out design reduces abrasives in the seal cavity by using traditional double mechanical tungsten carbide seals. This gives you a pump that you can install and not have to worry about its performance. The unique Dura-Spin grooved impeller and suction connection as well as the improved cable entry makes maintenance easier and extends the life of the pump. While remaining extremely sturdy and reliable, the lightweight aluminum pumps are easy to move and mobile. They are rugged enough to handle abrasive liquids in demanding environments. Cast iron, from which extremely rugged and reliable pumps are made, is excellent for handling both highly abrasive liquids and water containing chlorides. Stainless steel pumps are highly wear-resistant and versatile, efficiently pumping tough, abrasive and corrosive liquids. They are used in particularly demanding applications where high corrosion resistance and resistance to large fluctuations in pH levels are required. Cast iron pumps are available in explosion-proof version in accordance with IECEx.
