The new, more compact Flygt Series 7020-7040 vane pumps can replace older vane pumps in larger pressure columns. The adapter for the more compact pumps will eliminate the difference in diameter between the new pump and the existing larger pressure column. The discharge funnel of the adapter provides good flow conditions for maximum efficiency. The adapter supports the pump inside the pipe and prevents it from spinning with a forced rotation prevention device. It is able to cope with static and dynamic pump loads and moving water. The cable clamping system is recommended for all installations 7020-7040 and plays an important role for deep pressure columns. The existing cable clamping system can be adapted for the cables of the new pump. Required new components include cable support clamps and bundle kits as well as cable entry components (in pressurized systems).
